New puppy for my lens collection! I bought a SMC K 17 f4 Fisheye in 9,5 condition. The lens is smooth and very compact. I liked the feel of aperture ring. I think K series have the best quality in this issue. I bought it to a Pro who uses Pentax. Yes, he is pro, he is VERY succesfull and he shoot Pentax. He has 3 LXs, that he really loves and praises, two AF400T, a lot of lenses including 15 3.5, 28 Shift, FA 28-70 2.8, etc. He had and sold 100 2.8 A macro, 28-135 4 zoom. He is selling some stuff because he uses Medium Format and Large Format far more often. He plans to stay with just one LX and 28-70 2.8. I told him he will feel bad if he does it, and he is not very sure about what he will do. In MF he uses Pentax 645. He tried 645n and liked it a lot, not specially for AF, if not for the other improved features. He is planning buying one. He has a lot of 645 glass, including a FA 600mm ED IF he bought new in usa (about 5000 usd). He does all his processing and printing, including color, b&w and slide. As you can see, you can be a very successfull pro and use Pentax!! He will surely join the group. I gave him the addresses and instructions to do it.
