Can anyone tell why images scanned with my 9000 scanner becomes rather

Pal, I've had many dozens of frames scanned on a Nikon 9000 without
ever noticing a magenta cast. All have been done by a small local photo
shop whose operator may be in some way allowing for that tendency, but
it's never come up and would have to have taken place a few years back.

It isn't a colour management issue in Photoshop is it?
Edit/Color Settings.
Make sure you don't have something obviously wonky in there.
After that, I just don't know

Nothing wrong with scans. They are perfectly OK in all other programs except
Photoshop where they turn magenta...

What I didn't add was the fact that they were all opened in PS and
exhibited no magenta cast.
