I've driven sixties Lancias. They would scare anyone .:-) But if we're talking
money, it's interesting to note that the top seller at Barrett-Jackson last
year was a Plymouth Barracuda. Over a million dollars.

Sorry, I was mistaken. The top seller this year was a Ford Mustang, a Shelby
version. It sold for five million. The Barracuda brought in a paltry two
million. European cars used to bring bigger dollars. A Bugatti 57S Atalante
went for two million in 1990.

I have a (car dealer) friend who had a collection much like this. But
kept in much better shape! He auctioned most of it off a few years
ago, I was out of town and couldn't be there, never heard what the
net value was.
