i am very sensitive to email abuse, and i have no qualms with B&H email
practices
i've bought maybe three things from B&H over ten years, always online,
and haven't opted in to general emails; separately, i've asked for email
notifications when things are in stock a few times; i've received the
appropriate receipts & notifications, but to my recollection not a
single general sales email; i use a separate email address for every
vendor too, so i'd also know right away if they had sold my address to
another vendor
