I saw the White Sox play in San Diego in June, and I thought at the time that the Sox were by far the best team in all of baseball. Nothing that has happened since then has convinced me otherwise (although it was a bit mean of the Sox to taunt Cleveland by letting the Indians almost catch them

Right now, they're the only Chicago team playing baseball. In fact, they're the only Chicago team that's played baseball this late in the season for near half a century. They have a great ball club with no goat, no pretensions, and no uppy, tea-sipping, limp-wristed north-side fans :-). Paul >
