A few people were asking about USB-3.0 HDDs recently.
So, - I see two fresh rather good deals for a 2GB and 3GB portable USB 3.0 HDDs.

I bought this type of 3GB portable WD HDD in Septemmber and I am very happy with it. (It appears considerably faster than my previous two Seagate portable USB-3.0 drives)
3GB for $70:

2GB for $50:

Just in case, "portable" means that it is small, and also it doesn't have a separate power supply, but takes the power from the USB port. (I've heard of some underpowered USB 3.0 on laptops that had problems powering up external HDDs. I've been using 3 of them on various computers without any problem.)

HTH,

Igor
