Had anyone seen how many A50/2.8 macros have been flooding though eBay of late?
I wonder why they have all come out of hiding of late? The imminent
introduction of the FAD50 macro perhaps?

K-mount from Pentax until a found a Vivitar that did the trick. It's
a 55mm f2.8 MF macro that does 1:1 without an adapter. I never could
get used to AF macros, and I didn't want to go to the original Takumar

Nah. Most Leicas haven't been used in the last 20 years. I don't
think unavailability of film would present any problem with most
owners. :)

I'd say that's basically true for me, too - 50's, 90's, 100's, a
105, a 200, and a 90-180. (Except maybe for the F 50/2.8 Macro,
which is optically ~superb~, but which manually focuses like a piece
of junk.)
