Finally got around to taking a look at the Ritz Camera location I mentioned that used to be an independent. Looks like they were one of the locations that actually retained the name Wolf Camera. Took a look inside, and they had a few Canon/Nikon/Sony products left. A few tripods, mostly

Yes they bought out Wolf from Bankruptcy last August. Chuck Wolf is a relative of the Ritz's. They have recently acquired PhotoAlley and I believe they have either acquired or are about to acquire CameraWorld. I don't know if this signals Ritz's intention to get more involved with the serious
