Nice shot... I find myself wishing for slower ISO settings on the *istD...
though I do appreciate being able to crank it up on the fly.

is a good tool for bigger insects close-ups of course only if equipped

This one is a Cabbage White. A little different for me in that it was not
shot with flash. Instead it was shot with available light while I was out
for a walk with the wife and daughter. To make sure I got adequate DOF and
minimal camera shake I boosted ISO to 800. Higher sensitivity amazes me
