PESO: Another "Different" Shot

This was once an active practice range which is located in a river bottom. It struggled for awhile, but was done in by gross mismanagement. This pretty much describes my golf game. Out of bounds, in the rough under a brooding mantle. I thought the debris, etc., included in the foreground enforced t

Your story makes this interesting, but I don't think it works as a photograph. It might work better if you were tighter on the plywood golfer and let the background go somewhat out of focus. But it's a difficult situation with all the business of the scene. Paul -- Original message

I totally agree. Thanks for the input. FTR, that background building is the abandoned clubhouse. In the interest of "so what", it's all located in a river bottom between two levees. Some years, the flood waters reach the peak of the roof. BTW, it's, also, indicative of the condition of a couple of

Thank you, Marnie. Actually, this was only a test grab that is headed for the trash bin. I don't think even your valued advice can save it. :) Jack --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > In a message dated 11/12/2007 7:42:32 A.M. Pacific Standard Time, > [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > This was once an act

Thanks for your input, Charles. Incidentally, me too. This 4-shot series was a very limited experiment. Jack --- Charles Robinson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Nov 12, 2007, at 9:40, Jack Davis wrote: > > > This was once an active practice range which is located in a river > > bottom. It strug

I agree with Charles, here. Maybe in late afternoon or early morning light and a lower angle so that the golfer is depicted against the sky.. But the fence probably limits the possibilities. Cheers Brian ++ Brian Walters Western Sydney, Australia http://me

Thanks, Ann! It is such a hodge podge and didn't concern myself with that white thing lower left. I, also, thought the debris at the bottom suited the scene. Certainly could be easily cropped out with a nip on the right to balance it a little. Jack --- ann sanfedele <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >
