It's growing through leaf litter. The top had a fair bit of dirt on it so wasn't particularly photogenic. I don't even like edible mushrooms so I just treat all mushrooms as poisonous. A while ago I read about a species that's edible but becomes poisonous if you eat it with alcohol. Speaking
