That's an impressive looking storm!

I don't often disagree with Bob and Bruce, but this time I will. I often
advocate cropping, but this time I won't! The shot as it is has a sense of
scale that cropping would diminish.
OTOH, I think the saturation is a bit overdone, and that the sky would be more
foreboding if darkened a bit a

above the tent caterpillars; too bad you couldn't get

Nice cloud - could do without the rest of the clutter - foreground, bush
etc.
Also needs a bit more foreboding.

This is my first "real" foray into post-processing (and still starting
from JPEG). Made an adjustment layer to play with the foreground
levels (blowing out the sky) and gradient mask to the horizon to bring
out the the original well-exposed sky. A bit of burning in and bumped
the saturation by +15.
The most interesting part is weakened by too much foreground and sky.
if you were to crop the bottom almost to the wire fence and a bit off
the top I think the image would be much more powerful.

You aren't helping. There's one on craigslist right now for $375 and I
can't afford to save that much money
Like it, Darren! Well composed! Colors, juiced a bit?
