Thanks Rick.
Yes, lighter at the bottom seems to be the consensus. I'll have another go at
it.

Yes, others have commented on the lower left so I'll have another look at it.

Thanks, Bruce.
Yes, definitely better in B&W but I probably should try to get a good colour
scan done of the original. The Photo CD scan was just plain awful in terms of
colour.

Thanks, Dave.
The colour original looked quite good but Photo CD scans can be very 'hit or
miss'. This one definitely missed! Just as well, probably, otherwise I might
not have tried the conversion.

Yes, this works. Possibly better in B&W. Nice mood presented.
Definitely worth showing.

Hi Brian,
Very nice, I like the perspective and shapes, I can see a triangle
formed by the tip of the branches and the shadows/reflections on the
water that drive my eye from left to right, and the B&W gives a nice
mood. Did I say I like it?

Certainly no longer "ordinary" !! :-)
Looks great. The lower-left is a little heavy.
Great stuff!

Good one Brian.
The B&W conversion works really well too.

Very nice, Brian! Stark with good resolution. Lower left corner is
somewhat murky perhaps, but, overall, well done.

Hi all
Going though some old images I came across this one shot originally with a
Super A on Ektachrome. I had it scanned a couple of years ago to Kodak Photo
CD but the scan was pretty ordinary - decided to see whether a B&W conversion
would be better.
