Glad to help. The A24/2.8 is a very good performer on the DSLRs. I had one for a year or so and did a lot of photography with it. With the K10D it will produce the field of view of a 35mm lens on your film SLR. I don't know anything about the Tamron SP17/3.5. But the DA18-55 lens is at
