I spent the weekend "Up North" as they say here in Minnesota.. filling the woods with the smell of a two-stroke motor on an old snowmobile. (Lake Vermilion if you're curious) Loud, obnoxious, smelly - but fun. The second day out was after a night's snowfall - and it continued during the day.

I fooled with it a little last night in PSE. Selected just the grass and reduced the brightness, then inverted the selection and brought up the mid-tone contrast on the trees. Didnt' save it, but I could probably recreate it and post it if you'd like to see it. -p On 7/26/2012 9:46 AM, P. J

Electrical service, I think. I tried to burn in the grass and I'm thinking that maybe I'll clone out the wire. It bothers me because I didn't notice it until after I rendered the raw image on my desktop. On 7/26/2012 8:44 AM, Daniel J. Matyola wrote: I like the pattern of the trees. I agree

I like this idea. The light grass in the foreground tends to draw my eye from the tree trunks though. Maybe you could darken the grass some and increase the mid-tone contrast to give the tree trunks a little more separation. -p On 7/25/2012 10:21 PM, P. J. Alling wrote: I hadn't done a B&W
