Yesterday was slightly overcast, but I decided to take a drive along the
beach anyway, took the Kalamar 500mm mirror along just because I hadn't
used it lately, thought maybe I'd get some photos of wildlife, it can be
surprising good at middle distances. I didn't get anything at all
presentabl
P.J., I almost forgot to comment. I like this a great deal. You don't
see the word demure very often but that' what's I thought when I saw the
dainty hesitant way the subject was wading.

I agree. My Makinon 500 f8 works well as a sort of middle distance "macro"
but not for much else.
