Boris,
The scene is beautiful, but this looks like two
pictures in one. The first is the foreground, with
the rocks and reflections; the second is the ship with
the mountains in the background. Together in the same
pic, they seem to compete.

Hello Boris,
For me, this is not a wow shot. But, it is very nice to show how
beautiful the area is there. More of a nice travel documentary shot.
I bet it was fun shooting that 645.

Your bet is right on the money :-).
Bruce, mind if I ask you to elaborate slightly on your first sentence above?

Boris,
I like the picture as well, but...
it would be stronger if the rocks were on the black background of the hill.
The rocks straddling the sky/hill reflection make them difficult to see.

Hi!
That's a very nice shot, Boris, but... just one point, it doesn't seem
very sharp on my monitor. Is it me, or does the scan not do it justice?
I think it is scan quality and of course it was shot hand held which was
rather unusual to me - new and heavy camera Pentax 645 can be...
Hi!
Mighty?!?
LOL.
I can't recall you taking this one. It must be in Flåm, right? Was it
before or after the train ride?
I like the shot. Well seen.
I don't remember, but I think it was just as we arrived to the place...
I took the camera and ran to the water, that much I can remember.

Boris,
I like this more than the other one you posted recently because the
liner created a center of interest for me and the rest of the picture
falls very well around it.
Congratulations on getting a really good one.
