I do remember the K10D/20D reviews. I still think the K5 was a real
breakthrough in the opinions about Pentax, maybe because it actually
bettered other cameras.

I started with an istD. Then I got a K10D, which was a big improvement. Then
I got the K7, which was another big improvement.
I'm quite happy with the K7, and there are things on my photo-spending list
ahead of a new body (such as a new calibration device and a new printer).
