After reading your comments I checked the pic again, and you're right,
there was a bit too much cyan and blue in the shaded area of the street and
sidewalk. I reduced those to good effect. I've not gotten around to
working with the areas you feel need to be lightened. Everything looks
pretty goo

Missed your orig post.
I believe I prefer the second. Margenially brighter, especially in the
sky. Power lines virtually gone.
I personally think the scale of the children in the setting is a major
reason it works so well. Even sought the comfort of some shade.
