I never bought a Peleng, but have the 16mm fisheye Zenitar. Bought
it directly from KMZ in Moscow some time ago. Cost all of $ 75!! I
use it on my EOS 10D via adapter, which loses most of the fisheye
effect
Naa, nothing so expensive. Vemar 12mm f8.0. The truly cheesy fisheye...

Thanks for the info and the samples. a 3 or 4 shot pano with nadir and
maybe zenit would be enough for a 360x180 degree panorama with this
fov.

Jack, I don't have the *istD but I guess the DS is similar enough.
I'm preparing a page on the Peleng for my little site, it is not
finished for the lack of some example pictures, but there's something
on the mirror issue, as well as links to other sites with examples.
