I have no idea, but it has been said some had stopped for quite some time,
like FA*80-200. The demand for FA* has been so low since their introduction,
I am not surprised they still have many parts inventory.

I bought my FA*24 new about 18 months ago. From the lens manual it
appeared to have been manufactured several years previously. (That is,
