I can't be much help, as my 6x7 300mm is sitting in my closet too. I found a
good deal on a used 6x7->K mount adaptor, and also have a few K-mount
Pentaxes. But I have not yet used the adaptor... though if I ever have a yen
to use a 300mm lens (on either format), well, there they are. Unused

That's kind of what I've thought, so I haven't bothered. But I don't
have a 300, and this one is relatively fast. It would be fun to see
how sharp it is on that little sensor. But probably disapointing
