You'll probably see the leds flicker as the camera will think the batteries are near to exhaustion. I try to use Silver Oxide in the MX LX and ME cameras I have, that's what they were designed to use, other chemistries will work, but not optimally. At least with the MX the battery only power

Should I expect 675 batteries (nominally 1.45V, though brand new Rayovacs are reading 1.38V on my multimeter) to power the meter on an MX? I'm not getting any reading from the meter at all now. At the weekend, the LEDs for underexposure would show, but none would show for correct or overexposure
