to bring out the purple green colouring on some of the plumage.
(That Ibis is very similar to our Hadeda Ibis in colouring.)

After seeing this I decided to post it as is.
I recently posted an Ibis image which I pulled out of a shadow
nearly as dense and thought the result sort of tepid.
I'm kind of taken with he shadow pattern against the light blue water.(?)
