If all the lenses are genuine pentax K mounts you will
have no trouble using it on a MZ-7 ( oops ZX ) no
adaptor needed. As for the ZX-7 focusing in low light
all AF cameras have that trouble unless aided by a af
spot beam, and even then 9 m is about the max
effective range. I almost always use the AF assist on
my flash when it starts to get a bit dark, even if the
camera can still focus the spot beam helps it do so
faster. Remember that the ZX-7 will not AF with non AF
lenses but it will give you the infocus light to help
you out.
