For those who care, I settled on Life Savers as the first choice for
my project. Skittles were better than M&Ms, but still not bright
enough or saturated enough, and Good n Fruity turned out to be
lacking a little in saturation as well. So, the project is ready to
move ahead with Jelly Bellys and

Hi,
If you don't find a candy that has brighter colors,
I believe you can use the M&M and try to spray it with glicerin or any kind
of stuff that's used to make a car's dashboard shine.
Of course you can't eat them
afterwards!...
Check on Jelly Bellies (Fairfield or Suisun City, CA), Gummy Bears, etc.

Wow! Life Savers! Thanks. That's a wonderful addition to the
project, and I'd not thought of them before.

Hi Rob ... I've got the Jelly Belly part of the project covered, but
I still need an M&M clone, or some other brightly colored candy.

Shel,
Maybe try Skittles ("taste the rainbow") ... they're shaped a lot like
M&M's. I'm not sure how many more colors you'll get but I do think the
colors are a bit brighter. They come in a red package similar in form to a
M&M package.
