Well it doesn't demand it. I just lost patience uploading & downloading photos on dial-up ;-). I live in a pretty old neighborhood and the telephone lines are a bit past their prime. On dial-up I was averaging about 25k, less if it rained. That's my excuse & I'm sticking to it. Dave On 9/22/0
