Hi Ken, I have to admit that the photo doesn't do much for me. It may in part be because, having spent a couple of months in Alaska, I'm familiar with the grandeur of the place, and this little pic just doesn't to justice to the magnificence and majesty of the area. Perhaps seeing it (the photo)

If you check past PUG's you'll see that I did something along those lines. It was titled "North Face" - taken with a 600mm (on film). Got published as the first place winner in the annual Alaska Magazine photo contest. That bright peak BTW is Mt Mckinley (Denali). North Face is in fact a feature of

Love the lighting on the highest peak. Because of the flatness and lack of any interest in the foreground and many of the peaks so similar, I don't think this makes for a very strong pano. Isolating the main lit peak so I can see it much better would make for a stronger image. As far as panos go
