I agree with Tom, it has an eerie feeling to it. I expect to look
down and see the haunted house. I don't know if that was

You learn something new every day...
I like the photo. It has a creepy feeling to it.

What's a "plane tree"? Is that what they call these messy things? Got
seed pods all over the place outside ... If you're not careful where
you step, they can kill you. ;-)

Comments, critique, and the
Godfrey, it most definitely works. The bottom right corner holds it
together and ultimately I would print it big and hang it in my office.

I agree. I would crop the out of focus stuff at the bottom. I don't
think it adds anything. The hanging branch at top is beautiful.

I
Simple. I like it a lot, but I don't see a reason to include the clump in
the LRH corner.
If it were mine I'd also crop out some of the blank white from the RH side &
lower edge.

Cropped, I would like it very much. ;-) Very minimalist.

I like this one Godfrey.
Looks nice against the sky and i think the bit of tree/plant in the
lower right buts it into perspective.

This is appealing. There may be either a little too
much, or a little too little, of the OOF tree on the
lower right, though.

That's a plane tree, I think. They make very nice shapes against the
sky in winter.
