Some dragonflies do indeed hover, so you have sometimes one or more seconds. The fast emperor is not one of these, but I have earlier taken some in flight pics in the way you shoot on a racing circuit. The PLM is a fast and silent lens, however all Pentax bodies (perhaps except the K-3 III)

Well Larry, as Ralf says, you did a good job and really captured the atmosphere. I must say I prefer the monochrome images. We haven't been to a function like that for many years. They do occasionally have dance evenings out here in the sticks but it is all Boeremusiek! (You can look that up!)
