Thanks, Burce - the flash was directly on the camera. On the Ricohflex
the hotsho is on the side of the box so the flash almost lines up with
the lens. The posted image is a crop of about the top 25% of the image -
the camera was pretty low and he was actually almost lit from below

I don't know if he is mean, but he certainly stands his ground. My
dog first discovered him about a month ago, while it was still light.
The dog tried to take the creature in his mouth (as dog are wont to
do), but immediately spit it out. The dog then shook his head
