Someone else asked the same question. I don't recall. It's possible
that my cousin Kerstin, who is not in this picture, was recording their
conversation. She's the unofficial family historian and may have asked
Olle to interview Einar.

Very nice Paul. Its nice to have pics like this one. I have some
similar pics of my Grandfather that I need to scan and share. What were
they doing there? It looks like they were recording the conversation as
in an interview or something.

Thanks Juan. How true. And it's interesting that the kitchen is frequently the
center of life for every culture. It's where the family comes together and
takes their nourishment, so I guess it's natural that we gravitate toward the
source of our food. Of course at one time it was the only room i
Hi Paul,
Sorry for the late comment.
I really liked this picture, for all the reasons other people already
stated. But also, because of how it shows how similar people are to

my father came from. I was there for just two days on the tail end of a
business trip. Both of these men are long since gone. By the way, they were
speaking Swedish.

I would have _loved_ to have seen more images, of other times...
Your feel of what's important is well felt and portrayed!
I'd love to have been a fly on the wall, as it's said... to hear what
was being talked about. If I understood Norwegian?
All of which makes it such a very interisting photo!
