Hi!
I know Tony by name, as he (and sometimes his son) are at the Jet Fuel
cafe here in Toronto on weekend mornings:

Frank, you keep surprising me...
This works for me... Well, works is not the word... It sings...
Well, never mind... T
Very nice lighting and very much "live".
I would have liked the mum to focus on the child, not the photographer,
though.
I don't mind the shoe. Scenes like this should have many shots to chose fram
(a 5 shot burst, perhaps) - that's the nice thing about digital - it's
almost free. Maybe you did...?
I like it a lot, Frank.
I would, however, crop out the right hand quarter of the image - to fouus
more at the two persons at the tanbe - and the guy, in the back ground, who
might actually take a seat in the available chair in a litle while ;-)
All the best

Knarf, the bothersome part for me is what's on the right side between the RH
edge & the back of the chair. Seems inconsistent with the rest of the image.

Works for me, too. There's a slightly surreal aspect to it. What is the
chap standing by the steps up to? He has a somewhat maniacal look to him.
The scene looks as though it should have been lit with gaslights.

I seem to be going through a "busy" period these days. Seriously, I
was just thinking the other day that there's been

Hi Frank ...
In general I like this shot very much. Looks like you've cropped it a bit
(5:7 ratio rather then the 2:3 ratio of a full frame?). Good for you. It
looks like you could crop a bit more without losing the story and sense of
place. Loosing a bit off the top (getting rid of the wires
Nice shot, Frank. I like the wide view here. The environment is an
important part of the story. Good work.
