I thought that the difference between Ravens and Crows were that one had
5 wing pinions and the other 6, so the real difference is really a
matter of a pinion...

Ravens are enormous - much larger than carrion crows - with a massive
powerful bill.
What Bob said - we have tons of crows here and they look exactly like
yours. Ravens are hard to find
