This is why i love this list.:-) That would be a great idea.I'll have to go back and look(I'm at work now)and re look at some. Thanks Paul, Lasse,Butch,Larry. Just for the books,Silverfast seems to be the program i have the most trouble with setting,locking in ratios etc,Vuescan better.I am still not sure in the file size with Vuescan.Were it asks for size,35mm 4x6 8x10 etc,is this the scaned article size or the out put size. At first i only used the Epson twain that came with the 2450,but it sarted to act up and i moved to Siler and Vuescan. Thanks to an email from Boris,i'll look into updating the twain from the Epson site and see if that also helps. Dave
