Almost every one did capture some great light. I wouldn't classify
the runner photograph as a landscape, just my opinion, though it was a
powerful image, and I hated the shopping cart photo, though it was
strong, it simply was not to my tastes. I did very much enjoy the
images

Well, I stoped participating in competitions a long time ago for that reason.
The images that win are often over done or without real content. My images
never win much. But they sell quite well :-)
My images are everyday life and scenery. That's really what most buyers want -
sceneries and subje

choice and the last, valley snow scene, best of the color.

Granted that the first image has some distortion - did the
photographer use a fisheye? But still, the horizon looks crooked to
me!
