In any case to answer Ken, I suppose that is flare or some such around the sun.
Personally, I'm quite happy as none of my similar photos with the sun
in frame show anything worse.

I was wondering about Bob's comment, since I do see a light blue circle, in
the URH adjacent to the sun. Is that not flare?
