Debra, I had a K mount Tokina RMC 24/2.8 once. I liked it fine. It was metal and very solid like most Tokina lenses I have encountered. The optical quality was reasonably good. As usual, flare is a bigger issue with it than a Pentax SMC. Remember that the wider you go, the more easy it is to get flare. But for the price, the Tokina was quite good. I think I paid $70 dollars for mine a couple of years ago.
