I had a K mount Tokina RMC 24/2.8 once.  I liked it fine.  It was
metal and very solid like most Tokina lenses I have encountered.  The
optical quality was reasonably good.  As usual, flare is a bigger
issue with it than a Pentax SMC.  Remember that the wider you go, the
more easy it is to get flare.  But for the price, the Tokina was quite
good.  I think I paid $70 dollars for mine a couple of years ago.
