I don't believe the battery is supposed to be changeable. The price
is low enough I think it's supposed to be disposable. Battery good
for 10 years or something like that just buy a new one when it
wears out.
Have you seen whay we pay for them in the UK :(
John
Let me know when the battery goes flat on your K10D and I'll send you my
address and postage.

No, I didn't realize that the camera had to be switched to wireless
remote mode.

Just to be certain, I gather this was not taken in the bathroom.

It's in my family room, which has been outfitted as a home theater. It has
ornate fixtures like an old theater. The brass things are some award mementoes
atop the fireplace. There's also a gilded mirror above the fireplace.

Um, unless your bathroom is much different from mine, I doubt I'd see
a fireplace mantel with a gilt-framed painting/photo above it in the
bathroom ... !

Paul,
I get it..finally. I had a remote control F a couple years ago, but let
it go when I sold my MZ-S. Worked only with the battery grip.
Earlier today I ordered a new one. I have the 205 cable switch and
while slightly more fiddly, does allow trap focus.

I just received a remote control F that I had purchased from BH. The
box didn't include any instructions, but it seems obvious how it
works: it has just one button. But it doesn't work. Does it come with
a battery? I see screws on the back, but I haven't tried to

There is a small battery inside. Mine lasted about 4 years before it
died. The current battery has been in the remote for a couple of
years.
Are you using the K10D? Do you have the remote enabled?

I think it takes a very small lithium battery, but there were no
instructions with mine regards replacing it. I don't have a
screwdriver fine enough to remove the screws at present... !
