I used to have one, it was the standard MZ-M zoom and
it's not to bad,
a little barreling wide but ok sharpness and nice
contrast. I replaced
it with the AF version when I traded my MZ-M in for a
MZ-3, the AF
version now sits on my PZ-20 as a back up.

Hi,
Yes, it's the standard zoom for the ZX/MZ-M. I had one (gave to my son)
and I think that it's a pretty decent lens. It's a little soft in the
corners around 35mm at the wider apertures. I think that you got a
great price on it. Enjoy!

Hi Pentaxians
Does anyone know this lens: SMC Pentax-A 1:4.0-5.6/35-80mm ? I got it off
ebay for 29$.
It looks modern. Could i be s standard zoom from a MZ-M? How does it
perform?
Answers will be greatly appreciated!
Best Regards,
Jens
