Francis, The M 135mm f3.5 is a small, sharp telephoto. It is really too hard to work with for indoor portraits. It takes you too close and is too slow. I've used it most outdoors to photograph landscapes and things. It makes it easy to isolate your subject matter from the rest of the clutt
