What a cute little camera. I wasn't aware that it's so much smaller than
my K-5. It snuggles in to my hand just like my *istDS used to do.

If it weren't for the second thumbwheel, the bigger viewfinder, and the
top display, I'd really be tempted to use one instead of the K-5 which
still causes cramps in my right hand during intense shooting sessions. 

Michael seems to be quite impressed, at least by his standards. Unlike
myself, he usually has a totally unemotional attitude towards technical
equipment. He's spent the whole evening with the manual and testing the
video functions. 

At least I can now send my K-5 for some long overdue service attention
and use the K-r as a back-up.
