Yep. It launched on time as far as I can tell from subsequent news reports.

I especially like the way the fawn's feet are blurred into large
rectangular boots; that really shows how fast his little legs were

I was watching that auction. I was troubled by the 85 being described
as an M 85/1.8. Are you sure it wasn't an M 85/2? If I'm not mistaken,
I think all the other lenses were M versions.

HIE is High Speed Infrared film. Very nice to shoot but very difficult
(for me) to work with especially if you don't have a dark (really dark)
room to load/unload the camera.
