Interesting, Peter. Thanks for this. I'm quite fond of the Series 1 70-210/3.5 version 1, although I rarely use it any more. It is a tank. It's quite good optically. Of course I haven't compared it to the other two versions, so they may well be better. But it's a relatively fast, high quality
