Hi All
        10 yrs back I started photography with a Yashica camera. 
At that time I hardly knew anything about cameras and so never bothered to
read the model name.

This was not a SLR camera. Now, I am curious to know what TYPE of camera was
this?

It had following features

1) It had Yashica 50mm/2.8 lens. There was no facility to remove this lens
from the body.
2) Lens had DOF markings on it. 
3) I could focus & even press trigger when lens cap closed. (I remember
taking few pics like this)
4) There was no shutter speed control. Had an aperture ring on the lens.
5) There was no exposure metering. (By looking at light, I used take a guess
about the aperture to be used) 
6) Had a flash shoes 
7) Had split image focus.

By looking at the features, can some body tell what type of camera is this?
