Yes. Theres far more to go on. 35mm is so compromised that compromising it
even further with anything but the best lenses is unacceptable (to me).

I think there is a lot more to this than just,
convenience vs. sharpness and weight/cost. There is a
greater range of "look" and shooting conditions that I
can do with fast, prime telephotos than with slower
zooms. The flexibility of greater control of DOF and
lower light levels is more impor

speed. And don't get me started on their weight! The same
goes for any range. The *comparable quality* zooms are *way* more
expensive and heavy and bulky and so on.
