Even an 800x600 SVGA LCD projector has better resolution than a TV. (Heck, even VGA is better than composite video bandwidth). A 1280x1024 projector has the same resolution as the best HDTV sets (although the image isn't as wide - 5:4 aspect ratio rather than 16:9) [For the nitpickers: Yes, HDTV
