I wish Pentax made a 24-105 constant-aperture f4 AF lens. This would be a
great everyday lens, and at f4, hopefully not too heavy, and not too
expensive. Also, it would be a true zoom, so, when needed, you could
critically focus at 105, then zoom back to the framing you want.

To PDMLers with knowledge of lens mechanisms: does a constant-aperture
mechanism necessarily make a lens much more complicated and more expensive?
The FA 28-70 f4 is light, sharp, and inexpensive. There should be similar
Pentax lenses in other focal lengths. At least, I wish there were.
