That's on the *istD. I suspect it would cause some vignetting on a full
frame camera.

I use a square 50mm hood on my 35mm f/3.5 without any problems.

Hi Paul,
I've used that same hood on my 50mm lenses with the digi. Seems to work
well, although I've net checked it with a pol filter. However, for the most
part, I use the 105/2.8 Takumar hood. It's a little smaller and more
convenient to use and carry.

protection, but smaller and handi
