We have a juvenile fantail hanging about in our garden at the moment, and today's the first time I've seen him have a swim.

These little guys can be very hard to photograph as they don't stay still for long, but they are fairly tame and they'll let you get pretty close.

K10D, FA 200mm f/2.8, just resized and a crappy sharpen filter as I can't be bothered doing anything in this heat. I'd have loved a faster shutter speed for the second pic but it probably would have been out of focus anyway.
